Nana - *song* 

Draw me nearer to You, nearer to You. Fill my life with Your presence the way You want to. Till my soul is ablazed, wach and everyday. Draw me nearer, nearer to You.

Alex - Saw gold. Felt that we should press on to Jesus, the Author and Perfector of our faith. (Heb12)

[after prayer]

Jk - Felt the love of God embracing her once again. How deep the love of God is for us.

Val - Saw waterfall, waves and ripples.

Dot - LOVE. Standing in awe of God.

Chris - Felt the fire of God released through Dot as she sang. (during worship earlier). Ezekiel 1:_ Fire, whirlwind. Watchmen - If we don't speak and tell of their sins, we'll still be held accountable 'cos that's our call as watchmen. Setting of standards. Saw a pillar of fire, veil was opened and lifted up. It's a fire that will purge not hurt. Gold coming out of it. Cleansing, Refining, Purging.

Prayer Points:

Dreams/ Visions/ Impressions:
Alvin - Ps73 - God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever. (vs26b)
(and verses 18-27)
Unity among leaders. 'Holiness'

Jk - 2 Cor 4:7 "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us." We are not perfect but God sees us as these precious treasures that He seeks after.
We've to learn to fear God and honour Him in all that we do. In worship, we're carrying God's glory, not just experiencing God in church but everywhere we go. (the favour of God upon us)

Unc Jem - Gal 6:9 "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
2 Cor 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, My strength is made perfect in weakness."

Nana - Don't be nice and compromise. (eg: we compromise God's standards because we do not want to offend people..)

Chris - For this year. A Year of Positioning and Alignment.
Just like the oil that flows down Aaron's head (refers to Christ) then the beard (the leadership) then to the clothes (us/people)...

Gatekeepers, 4th Dec.

Visions / Impressions:
Sis Lee Noi
Saw a river coming down. A river of Delight, Grace and Mercy. "It's here, drink freely. Drink, the river is here to your delight."
Also saw rain falling on a surface of water. "The rain is here." To declare the ancient springs to open up, gush up to the surface..
Felt God asking us: "Who among you really hunger and thirst to see My Righteousness here on earth?"
Regarding the youth conference..the word "SHINE" came to mind.

Shaun
Isa 57:13 (Last part) "But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, and shall inherit My holy mountain."
POSSESS the mountain, not just conquering it...when we make God our refuge.
"When you are standing on top of the mountain, the problem looks very small."
Don't magnify your problem but magnify God's might in the problem.

Chris
1. While praying for the Youth Conference, saw youths as white eagles rising up. (White speaks of purity.) Repentance. Revival of Holiness and purity.
2. 2009: A Year of Positioning.
Something big's gonna happen..(youth and children)
3. Today while worshipping, saw God's lightning come down. Also saw a wave coming...a wave of God's Spirit.

-Felt joy/gladness.
-Felt that as servers, we should hunger for greater things and expect it, not just knowing it.
-And, for servers, God's gonna refresh us.

Gatekeepers on 28th November 08

Impressions /visions / word received:

jK - Felt that the Servers have been running on their own strength, need to go back to their First Love, intimacy with God.

Saw a vision of the servers holding out their hands receiving that fresh anointing oil from heaven. Serving God can only come out of that overflow of the close relationship we have in Him. Only then can we feel that joy and gladness when serving... Delighting ourselves in Him.. :)

Was also reading Joel Chapt 2 before coming to gatekeepers and God spoke to me about the new wine that He's going to pour out. The new wine cannot be contained in the old wineskin which means that we cannot rely on old methods/mindsets abt things.. He's gonna change the way we do/view things..

Dot - Felt that when we learn how to love each other instead of judging people then the place will expand. It's only when we learn to love our own brothers and sisters, then we can reach out to people outside.

Chris will blog his own impressions because he has alot to say.. =P we need a voice recorder to record down our prayers and declarations! can we get one? =P

Prayer Declarations:

- Healing miracles take place in Salem Chapel
- Seeing signs and wonders
- Unity among servers
- Boldness to declare His word
- No apathy / lukewarmness
- Fear of God
- No compromising on His standards
- Breakthroughs in the lives of the people
- Mission trippers will claim back territory for God
- Revival

Gatekeepers

Alvin, Amanda, Jaron, Lele, Nana, Chris, Shaun (7)

Main Prayer Pointers:
Shaun - pray over the ministry regarding spiritual apathy. Declare over His sword. Are we ready to believe? God is ready to fulfil his plans. We must believe what we declare!

Amanda - Saw a Narnia-like scene where there was an army charging forward with their spears pointing out. Pray for passion.

Nana - Was impressed with the sentence, "This ministry will grow". The growth will not just be in numbers, but in maturity as well. We should declare God's promises over the ministry. Joel 2:28-29 - "I will pour out My Spirit..."

Chris - Pray against strife, repent for the past wrongdoings in the ministry.

Dreams/Visions/Impressions:
Alvin - During his preparation for worship, he was reminded of the peace of God. It's like God reminding us of who He is; the God of peace. Also, we've compromised. We've compromised on worship, teaching of the Word of God, and correction; because we think the youth don't understand or think all this is boring, so we don't do all those things. We need to change that!

Amanda - Impressed with the songs "Empower me" and "Be magnified".

Shaun - We need to teach people not to look at God as a provider or Santa Claus. We need to enjoy Him and appreciate Him for who He is to us. We should treat our time at church as an act of worship and not just duty.

Chris - We treat God as an event and not as a person. We need to change that!

Takeaway:
We are not here to pass time, we are here at Gatekeepers, praying to change things!

Pre-Lifegroup Prayer

Dreams/Visions/Impressions:
Pearlyn - Sensed that people's hearts will be open (even the 'difficult' ones) and there will be more chances to be a testimony and share with them.

Nana - Had a mental image of a red banner, waving 'fiercely' with power. During the week, had a mental image of an eagle, soaring in the sky, above the buildings. This talks about having another perspective (a higher perspective), one that looks beyond ourself and our situations. Looking at the bigger picture, see what God is doing in our midst.

Revival Meeting

Dreams/Visions/Impressions:
Aunty Lee Noi - The Lord showed me the entire expanse of wall that was built up. It was fortified wall, fit to protect a city and there was many stretches of built-up walls. I saw a young green shoot growing next to the wall.

Sense to read Nehemiah again and there seem to be a call for season of fasting and repentance before God (Chapter 1).
